Galleri Tom Christoffersen is a gallery of contemporary art situated in the centre of Copenhagen. We collaborate with curators, collectors and other galleries and represent both emerging and established Danish and international artists.
The gallery's diverse and experimental program presents a variety of media and approaches to art. Among others, the art practices encompass playful commenting on recent art history and everyday life, explicit interventions in political, psychological and social fields - but also very systematic investigations into sculpture and painting both as media and especially as process. Most artists have conducted challenging commissions, received prizes and are represented in art museums and important private collections.
A small part of the gallery is called Cube and is run as a parallel show to the main exhibition space. Cube is primarily reserved to artists working with photography.
Galleri Tom Christoffersen was initiated and opened in 2002 at its current location by director Tom Christoffersen and has participated in art fairs such as Market Stockholm (2008), Preview Berlin (2008) and Art Copenhagen (2004-09).
